I'm 5'9" 215lbs and purchased size L/XL. I wore this for the first time yesterday at the Northstar MTB resort in Lake Tahoe. It was a hot day too in the upper 80s. In short I say buy it. It's worth the price!Fit: It's snug on a guy my size but didn't cause any discomfort or trouble breathing. The pads all stayed in their place the whole day. The protective coverage was spot on where I wanted it.Comfort: It wasn't hot! I wore a lightweight long sleeve jersey over the top and never found myself sweating or hunting for shade. It was by no means a cool day yesterday. When I took it off I examined my body and didn't have any rubbing abrasions or elastic marks. I felt really comfortable wearing this. Also a plus is that it's not heavy or too bulky. I swear some guys out there look like Master Chief.. Not me but I feel just as protected.Function: For some reason I go all out the whole day and never wipe out, but when I'm tired and headed back to the car on the easy trail I find myself sliding out or going over the handlebars. I can't explain it.. Must be a universe thing. Yesterday was over the handlebars and I got all tangled up between my bike and my backpack. The top tube bonked my ribs pretty good and I didn't feel a thing after. My elbow whacked the ground pretty good and there's not even a bruise today. The rocks tore right threw my jersey but this elbow pad took it like a champ!Comments: I was so impressed that I ordered a pair of Leatt protective shorts just now. My upper body shows no damage from my spill, but my hip and thigh are scraped up and look like a Muy Thai filter went to town on me. Others have commented that the breathable material is fragile. I agree that special care should be taken when pulling the arms on and off. I suggest taking hold of the pad itself and carefully working your arm loose. Lastly, the arm pit area isn't covered by any material. This is nice because they likely won't smell of any odor. At least that's my experience after a hot days riding.All-in-all I think Leatt makes top notch stuff and I'll migrate all my protective gear to their brand as things wear out. I vote for you to buy this.First time I used it went to windrock and it did its job. Saved me from a huge crash in rocks. Love this so much!Best choice very lightweight can wear in any weatherEven in the hottest months it feels like nothing !!!Money well spentI am a female size small and measured according to the sizing chart. I bought the S/M which is definitely more of a medium! This was too big on me especially in the arms where the elbow pads shift around easily not offering the protection they should in a fall. Which is the whole reason to pay almost $300 to protect yourself with this thing. I had to pay a restocking fee to return this item. I would NOT buy from here unless you are 100% sure of the size you need as the sizing chart is no help and you will pay to return, keep looking or go to a store where you can try it on. Seller does not offer free returns!!I ended up buying a Leatt short sleeve and the Leatt elbow pads separate which makes for a much better fit for someone with a smaller frame.Material is very fragile not strong enough for a motorcycle riderGreat productHave a few different brands of this type. Very comfortable and well made. Not cheap but worth it.I only had it for a day but after using it for hours I gotta admit it holds up pretty well. At first appearance it looks pretty chunky until u zip it on and wow does it feel very lightweight almost as if u didn't have body armor on. Very well made breathable and solid construction on padded areas only downside for me is that i have to slide the elbow pads up and little when I first wear it since the plastic padding is it's a little too low for me but no big deal it stays in place after adjusting them onceTaglia L XL. Sono alto 1.73 x 85kg. È perfetta, leggerissima come non averla. Quasi da dire come fa ad essere livello2. Materiali Leatt come sempre al top.Great quality and fit.I order large/xl.I have broad shoulders and a thickish torso plus a bit of a belly. If my stomach was bigger or I had a beer gut, I think it might fit a little tight. It’s true that it gets very hot, but I find that it last for about five minutes then I’m comfortable. It hasn’t been a problem for me.I’ve taken a few falls on some enduro runs and I think instead of bruises and cuts, I was able to just get up, dust myself off and continue riding. For the ordering it came when they said it would.I am very happy with this purchase.
