A series of workouts that will assist in strengthening the Pelvic Floor and deep abdominal muscles so that you can get back in shape after baby. These workouts are particularly good for those who have Diastasis Recti or abdominal separation. It is important to consult your doctor before engaging in any postnatal workouts. Although these exercises are gentle and controlled, they are not for absolute beginners who do not have a history of exercise before pregnancy. Even if you have not had a baby these are still effective exercises to help you get a strong and healthy physique. THE WORKOUTS ARE: Mat Workout (24 mins): You will start with a glute bridge section, move to a side pretzel and plank series and finish with inner thigh squeezes and lower ab raises.br> Abs (30 mins): You will use a rolled up towel between the thighs to help you engage your lower belly muscles, whilst working your upper abs and obliques. You will also get some bonus glute work! Total Body Express (24 mins): You move through push up variations, plank moves that challenge your balance and a tough inner thigh sequence. Standing Thighs & Abs (27 mins): You will perform barre tucks in various positions using the towel to engage your inner thighs. You will then move to standing abdominal crunches using your upper and lower abs. About the instructor: Hi, I'm Linda - creator of Barlates Body Blitz. I absolutely wish I had this 15 years ago after my Csection as I have tried everything to strengthen my abs to no avail.I thought this may be easy as it is labeled post natal but I felt an amazing burn.It was tough yet not impossible and Linda never disappoints!I struggle with many traditional abs moves as they strain my neck or my lower abs muscles are too weak but the moves in this one incorporate many non traditional abs move that work every part of your body.I highly recommend even if your baby is now a Teen and I feel this will be my magic potion for finally getting flat abs
