So out of the box this thing is pretty!!!The first thing I do with cheaper guitars is always yank the strings clean condition set up action and intonation check the truss rod blah blah blah. So I'll recommend before you do anything give all he saddles a turn and a half down to get started because the action is super high out of the box. No problem. I threw some DDT strings on so I had to file out the nut a little. Fretboard is nice and smooth frets aren't sharp but they are a little bulky... I gave them a light pass with some suuuuper high grit. One inlay was a little buggered up.... no problem light light sanding.. perfect. After stringing up I fine tuned action and and intonation. I gotta say it plays like a dream. Love this guitar, I'm probably going to buy another one. Pickups sound great, knobs just need a little working back and forth gently and they smoothed right out. Electronics seem fine but I will be bringing to a tech to really check that stuff out. Cable jack was a little stiff once again I just used the little cable it comes with to work it out a little, took the nut off and just gave it the tiniest drop of gun oil.... maybe not a pro suggestion but it works for me. If you're a hands on person yiu will love this guitar, if not you will still love it just go drop the 50 bucks at the shop to get it spiffied up. I'm gonna go shred now.
