I saw a lot of negative reviews after I purchased and tried to cancel it without succeeding. Thankfully, I received the item fast and opened up to make sure the description matched the product, it did! Due to the fact that some people reported not receiving the correct item or been so bad to go bad on the first day I was scared.I tested it the next day immediately at a reef beach break and managed to catch 3-foot waves constantly and I am 190 lbs. I did not manage to do any airs, so I do not know how good could be when landing. It does flex a lot because is not made out of PP but, didn't bend or snapped when I was putting some heavy pressure doing cuts and bottoms. I guess that for the price it's worth it. On the third day, the bottom had a bent line. It seems like it is not going to last long on me.I always try not to expose any bodyboard to the sun. I avoid it as much as I can because I do not know the quality of the bonding glue for the slick bottom and a lot of solar heat can definitely damage any bodyboard. If you take care of it will probably last a year o maybe less, who knows. If you are not a pro this is just right for you.Good size board, appears to be of quality construction, much better than novelty beach shop versions. I decided to treat myself after all these years. I like the fact that it has "grab ridges" (for lack of a better term) along the side where your hands normally go. Morey Boogie has been around since I was a kid, and that's a mighty long time. Speaking of time, time will tell if it is durable enough to handle a 6ft, 180lb rider on 6ft rollers for a week each year off the coast of Ocean City, MD. Treat the board right and it will treat you back. Anyone complaining of any delamination of the top cover has left their board in the blazing hot summer sun, guaranteed, whether they realized it or not. Done with the board, find it some shade! One star off for the durability uncertainty.A fun itemntonusecat the beach. Durable, bright colors and easy to useI bought this board as a gift for my husband. He took it to the beach for our vacation to North Carolina, where the waves were big and strong. The board held up great to quite a pounding, 7 days straight of being blasted by powerful waves. It did not bend, break, peel, chip, bubble, nothing at all. My husband is 6' 3" and about 170 pounds and this was a good size, great board for him. I am 5' 8" and I used it with ease as well. We look forward to using it on vacation again next summer. Highly recommend this!!!! In case you were curious about the colors shown, the solid color (ours was orange) is the top, and the rainbow swirl pattern is the bottom. You get what you pay for....This is an okay entry level board. You are paying what amounts to a 20% premium for the Morey name. Which, over the long term, may be worth it? We shall see.It is extremely light weight. So much so, that I fear it will break at the first sign of adversity. It does look pretty cool though.Bottom line is, if you're looking for a board to do some serious shredding, look elsewhere. If you are looking for something to pass an hour at the Jersey shore, this is your ticket.Excellent boogie board. Comes with the wrist cord so you do not need to buy one.I purchased 3 of these boards for a family vacation at the Gulf. They were a little stiffer than I remembered Morey boards being when I was growing up in the 80's, but they worked quite well. I was pretty stoked that even at my age, I remembered how and could catch even small waves. Personally, I believe that this has a lot to do with the way these boards are made.Would absolutely recommend getting these as starter boards.A simple, well built bodyboard that provides a lot of fun, and a great ride. Be sure to buy fins for the best use-- easier to catch the bigger waves, farther out from where the kids hang out. My ONLY critique is that, due to my size, I should have picked a slightly larger board. Amazon and its vendors could easily offer a sizing chart to help guide the purchaser, as other websites do. However, a larger board does have a surprisingly 30% or so jump in price. A great all around recreational board.Used this once and it snapped - such a waste of money. Bought the same brand from another seller (this one had only one board) so both kids got one for Xmas - that one has a massive bubble on the surface. A completely rubbish board and a complete rip off.
