I just recently bought my second bottle of this after starting with the DCL 20% many years ago. The last time Ibought this, just about two months ago, it was $26 for this same size bottle. And now, it's up to $35? that's just price gouging, as in, "Well, inflation is the game we are playing now, so even though we had this in stock for the same price we did two months go, we're going up in pricer over 25% just because.." That's being an opportunist. You don't help our economy when you do this, Donnel. You make it all worse.Other than that, this is a good product, though I have to say, it's never done anything for my feet. I started out using it on my face, to replace the DCL product when that was discontinued. I've since moved on to a very reasonably priced 30% glycolic acid gel peel for the face and use this Donnell product on my arms and legs for sun damage, super dry skin and K P. It works well.I alternate this with LacHydrin lactic acid lotion. I'mpretty sure you can even stack these products, because I have with no problem. If you stick with this, you will notice a big improvement in KP and maybe some improvement in sun spots, AK spots and dry skin.It always feels like it needs another moisturizer on top of it if using without the lactic acid products. It's got a tacky kind of feel to it, but the DCL product did too. I think thats just how glycoloc lotions are. I let it dry off after rubbing in and then follow up with either an Alba Very Emollient lotion or a Pacifica shea butter lotion. Wow, is the skin on my legs and arms soft.IF you have an active eczema outbreak, it's best to let that heal up a bit before using the glycolic on it again. Be careful with this stuff--it is a strong acid product. It works, but it's potent and can burn you.I will say this about my last purchase, though. something is different about the formula because it takes a whole lot more product to get the job done. One bottle of this used to last me more than a year. Now? In just about two months, I'm about 20% through the one bottle and I'm not using it as much. It still works, but it doesn't go as far since they changed the formula, and now, of course, they have jacked up the price quite a bit, so it's just not a good value like it once was.I'll use this one while looking around for another glycolic lotion project in the 20% or higher strength that is more reasonably priced. This is not an expensive product for the manufacturer,. I don't begrudge them making money off of it, but the grautitous price increase and the change in formula have made what was once a great product and value into a decent product at a high price. I feel pretty sure you can do better elsewhere.Still, a 20% glycolic lotion WILL work to smooth the skin on your legs and arms, it will help get rid of seborrheic keratomas before they get big enough to need a dermatologist to remove them, and if you've got KP, you cannot beat a strong (at least 20%) glycolic acid to get rid of it and get rid of it pretty fast.Just .. do you want to pay pay $35 month for that? Or would you rather the company go back to the old. formula (non-gel) for about 25% less money? Yeah, me too, so I'll be shopping around.YES, you can use this on your face too, once you worked your way up to a 20% strength. I'm beyond that now, so use Yeoth 30% glycolic peel available on amazon at a very reasonable price. With that, a tiny bit goes a long way--but you've got to work your way to up to it. Glycolic and other AHA do what they say they do, but you can burn yourself if you try to go too fast. Slow and steady and. yes, you'd better wear sun screen.Im still looking for one that will work on my feet. Not sure what to do about those, because I've recently been told that using a pumice stone a few times a week makes those callouses worse. This stuff doesn't put a dent in feet callouses for me. Other than that, it works.I use it on my face and it keeps my face moisturized and smooth. Love love.It seems to workEver since I can remember I have suffered from rough, bumpy skin on my upper arms, thighs, hips and butt. Over the years I have tried every (OTC and Rx.) lotion that supposedly helps with moisturizing and exfoliating. Some worked to an extent and some did nothing for me at all. A couple of months ago i happen to run across this lotion and it has been a game changer for me. NEVER has my skin been as smooth and soft as after I started using this lotion about 3 months ago. Initially I was very disappointed as there was no discernible tingle, and no immediate improvement, but a month into using it, there was a complete turn around. None of the horrible red angry bumps. I can now wear sleeveless tops and cant get enough of the feel of my skin - not to sound too creepy, but rough skin has been the bane of my life for 59 years. The lotion spreads easily and absorbs into the skin with barely any greasy residue. My one and only criticism would be that there is no discernible scent. A light pleasing scent would be a great addition. Bottom line, if you are a fellow Keratosis Pilaris sufferer, give this lotion a try and give it at least a month before you give up on it. i usually use it soon after a shower. This product is amazing. It is definitely what it says it is, 20 % alpha hydroxy in the form of glycolic acid. So, if you're looking for a pretty strong glycolic treatment you will definitely get it with this one. If you are a regular user of the stronger concentrations of glycolic then you know what to expect with one at 20%. But, if you are new to using glycolic solutions please use caution with this one. It is used for the body like your feet, knees, legs, and arms. It is very potent for those areas alone.I use this on my face, neck, and decolletage as well. But, I can only handle it once or so a week on these more sensitive areas. Your face and neck will feel like it's burning/tingling for a little while after applying. The next day I usually do not use any other exfoliants or retinols. I also try to stay out of the sun as well. Your skin will be sensitive. It will end up slightly peeling which reveals your new, brighter skin. I know, the things we do for beauty and anti-aging... I apply coconut oil, vitamin E oil, and/or rosehip seed oil for the next couple days to soothe and combat dryness. This Donell exfoliant moisturizer is somewhat of a gel/lotion consistency. Once it absorbs you don't feel anything heavy left on your skin. I've taken photos of the bottle, lotion consistency, and ingredients if interested. This has smoothed wrinkles, lightened freckles, plumped out my facial skin, and made my skin less dull and more vibrant after using for the last few weeks. Excellent for that thick, dry unwanted skin on your feet, too. No added fragrance so basically no scent apart from that typical glycolic acid smell which is almost undetectable.I use this from head to toe and am very pleased with my results. I will continue to purchase as this is one of the highest concentrations of glycolic acid in the form of a lotion that I can find without prescription. A little pricey but it's a full 8 oz. of product in bottle with a fliptop. More importantly, the product itself and results that it gives is well worth the cost! This product is great for dry, and sensitive skin that requires exfoliating. The benefits of this product include the following: this product evens your skin tone , and exfoliates. It can dry your skin, I would recommend using a good moisturizer. I have tried many products. This product is a miracle in a bottle.
