Lavender scented body spray is very hard to find. I like to layer body wash, lotion, scented shampoo & conditioner and even deodorant, but I was missing a body spray for all of my lavender stuff. Was really uncertain of just how strong (or bad) this might potentially smell though. You never know with lavender. Sometimes it smells overpowering, like cheap men's cologne. I ordered this knowing I could return it.It arrived today. The box is sealed so you can tell that it's not been tampered with. The bottle will throw you off for a second. It opens by pulling the bottom, clear part down and you'll see that the top pops off, revealing the spray pump. You get alot in the bottle.So how does it smell once applied? It's not a true 'lavender-only' scent. It is layered with top hints of lemon and a deep sandalwood undertone along with the lavender notes. I applied one tiny spray to my inner arm to try it out & it's one of those scents that changes & blends with your unique body chemistry. I can def smell the lavender in it, but on me, it's very earthy and woodsy. I love it!! This spray is more than likely going to become one of my new signature scents. It doesn't take alot either. It's subtle, yet still noticeable. If you like these particular scents, I def recommend trying this one.I'll update later if this an all-day scent or if it fades after a few hours. Either way, I'll probably buy the citrus spray for the summer. I hope it's as lovely as this one.Update: Applied several quick sprays on both wrists, base of neck and midriff in the morning before heading out for the day. The scent lasted about 7ish hours, which is typical with most body sprays like you'd find at B&BW. Difference is this one is unique & I love that I'm the only one wearing it and who knows where to get it.; )
