I've used various wax strips over the years for my bikini line and came across these after the quality of Sally's brand seemed to have gone downhill. Not many recent reviews but I thought I'd give it a try. They do work pretty well, just make sure they are sufficiently warmed up before you pull them apart. If it sounds like tape when pulling apart then they're not warm enough. And one time all the wax completely came off the strip and stuck to my skin. That was not fun getting it off. But it did happen only the one time so hopefully that was just a fluke. Overall I would purchase these again.I bought these because they seemed to be cheaper for 2 packs. After using them I feel they are maybe older or expired or not as good quality? It irritated my skin and didn't pull out as many hairs as I'm used to, so I had to use more strips to get the job done. I've been using this brand for years and I like them a lot, but for whatever reason this box gave me some bruising around my bikini line and I had more bumps/ingrown hairs after the fact. Considered returning them.Works wellEasy to use large strips grab hair easily gets most in 1 go. I'll happily buy again. Seriously, this is the best at-home-wax kit I found using wax strips. And affordable too. They worked, I almost ended up without my eyebrow ( most likely, user error) so be careful, it does exactly what it is supposed to. My eyebrows swelled up after and was a little sore, but that happens at the salon too.Not strong enough to wax all of my thick leg hair, nor all of my armpit hair in one go. However it's fine, I just go over the area more. If you have weak and thin hair, it'll take it off all in one go.The reason I bought this was because I had went to the mall and forgot to get my brows done at one of the threading places….with this new found easy to use wax strips I am going to finish off my sessions I had purchase and just keep using these. To some of y’all it’s a bit expensive but to me if u Calculate it the nail salon charge about 10 bucks and you still have to tip and then at the threading spot it’s about the same too. With this pandemic thing going on I honestly rarely go to the mall any more I am a licensed esthetician but I dislike a wax pot for my self cause it’s way to messy for just brows it’s just too much of a hassle. So glad I found Parissa it works amazing! If it don’t work for you idk what to tell ya but follow the directions make sure your skin is free of oil just toner to cleanse area or even use alcohol wipes, if you have really oily skin it won’t stick and it’s key to follow the directions on the paper: cleanse, trim down ur hairs and then wax it off make sure to put pressure when sticking it on and the taut the skin and peel fast then tweeze the hairs you can’t get off.Easy to use. Can’t recommend these enough! Ordered them as my brows are awful mid-lockdown, they arrived promptly and the packaging was intact. I was nervous at first as I’ve never waxed my own brows, but the strips are so easy to use, take loads of hair off, and my brows look great now! The negative reviews must come down to not totally following the instructions...I used this to tidy my brows during lockdown as they pretty much grow down into my eye sockets :D The wax does a good job. You don't have to heat it - just cut a strip off, split into two, apply and rip off. I've not posted a photo because while my browws are less hairy, they are still a tad scraggy as I'm squeamish about plucking so haven't tidied them fully. But I'll definitey use these to get rid of any big wayward chunks that may appear between future waxes. The oil included removes any wax deposity easily. My one whinge is that the box is far too big for what the contents are.Pros- good for cleaning above your brows and in between them- quick once you get the hang of it- relatively less painful than when I’ve gotten my brows waxed beforeCons- it’s harder to do the arch of your brow so it’s probably best to use tweezers there- I think it’s way overpriced considering you can get full sized veet wax strips for £6- the box is too big and just a waste of packagingConclusion: they’ve done the job but I probably won’t buy them again because you end up having to do a lot of tweezing to get a clean look, so in future I will probably do the traditional wax where I heat up wax and apply it to the hairs to be more thoroughFantastic product but not very well designed! With it being lockdown and my eyebrows looking like 2 caterpillars...I decided to purchase this waxing kit.The product itself is fantastic but the ‘wax strips’ are not very well designed! The wax in itself is spread onto plastic sheets which you then have to cut out individually which makes it a lot harder to manoeuvre on the eyebrow. If it was better designed this product would be a 10/10! It left a fantastic finish on my eyebrows and my brows no longer look like 2 caterpillars! ? it also includes a finishing oil which is fantastic and works wonders! But again it is not very well designed and resembles something out of a high school science lab.If your thinking of buying it then do it. It is a fantastic product with clear instructions but NOT very well designedFirst ever time using wax on myself so totally inexperienced yet instructions were clear and product was ready to use in box which contains 4 sheets with 6 strips and ingrown hair oil for after waxing which works wonders! Overall for a newbie found this product good pulled hair out with root so defiantly worked I found it a little little painful and well let's say I usually cry over a paper cut!! Lol - little redness after but that's expected when your pulling stuff out your skin! Any way I'm rambling - totally recommend (ps my hair is super thick on my eyebrows!!) ☺️??✌?️?
