The review is long but my hope is that it will help someone else.I have two Ardyss Body Magic size 32 which I got from Ardyss directly 4 years ago love them they are well made but they are getting looser after years of use, then I found this seller with a price I couldn't believe, I ordered the 32 to my surprise I couldn't get it pass my thighs, I did not understand why, I thought maybe I got a defective one, so I returned it, for this price I was willing to give it another try, I ordered 32 black again and a 34 beige.The 32 black looks exactly as my old ones, same material with the hock closure between the legs but still couldn't fit very small.However the 34 beige was made with somewhat different materiel and the lining is cotton, which I did not mind, cotton controls sweat/moisture, another difference the design there are no hocks closures but a velcro flap opening between the legs for easy use, but it fits so I kept it.I returned the 32 black but I still needed a black and the 34 black was sold out I took a chance and ordered it in size 36 just to see, I didn't expect it to fit especially if the 34 beige was indeed my size but to my surprise this 36 black fits perfectly even better then the 34 beige it was tight the way I like it kept my body shaped perfectly and it is made of same material, same design as my original ones from Ardyss with the hock closures between legs. The 34 beige I will keep but I do not think that it will last a long as my original one w'll see.Personally I DON'T think that these are knock off (unless Ardyss has allowed another company to use their patent and pay them royalties) otherwise what I see is that Ardyss was manufacturing in Mexico (at least mines were) but the new ones are made in China, that is the difference, most of the time if a company isn't making as much profit as they would like they always look for a cheaper manufacturer and the result is sizing problems and even quality sometimes.I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because of all the trouble finding my size but I am very happy with the Body Magic, if you have some loose skin this is what you need at least it works for me.I hope this helps.For those who say is too small it probably is not! You have to know how to put it on and it is supposed to be tight, so tight that you dont know how you put it on in the first place. But it will loosen up a little. The point of this is to compress your body so it has to be tight but is not a a girdle you get at the department store, the material is very different and not as uncomfortable. Do not know how they did it but is true. I purchased this because I have been looking into waist training and this came up, I am eating healthy and working out several times a week, so I am using this as a complement to my current weight loss program. It will slim you down instantly but it will aid in loosing inches too IF you use it with in conjuction with diet and exercise. The company claims it helps with circulation and something about aiding with the fat burning process, do not know how much is true but I will say as far as waist trainers or body shapers it works just like I expected. Waist trainers do not lift your butt so this is better! Just to give you an idea of your size, I am 5'1 145 pounds and I ordered a 32 but after a few hours it was not tight enough so I exchanged it for a 30. You can go to youtube and watch a video on how to put it on....Yes, there is a trick, but is so worth it. Hope this helps.I ordered this and got it in 2 days. When I first tried it on it did not fit and I thought it was too small. I almost returned it then went on Youtube to watch how to put it on. The first time it took me about 30 mins still did not get it on right. After the Youtube video it took me about 10 mins after the 3 time now about 5 mins. But it was really worth it! It completely flattens the stomach takes inches off your wait and actually lifts the buttocks. This garment is truly amazing and the prize here for $87 is totally the best out there. Per the measurements I was supposed to get a 32 but I ordered a 30 and I am glad it fit really well. In the beginning it seems small but does conform to your body. I am actually thinking of getting a 2nd one just in case they stop making it. Now I can wear all my fitted clothes with confidence. Make sure to go on the company website and watch the video of how to take the measurements or on youtube it really helps you cannot put it on right without watching the video. I hope this helps someoneupdate: I have been wearing this for about 5 months wear it once a week so disappointed the material is not more sturdy it has started ripping in the stomach area and the band around the legs. I do still really like the way it fits just the material used is not good quality.my waist is 48'' I took assize 40'' on a whim and it fit. I mean t was tight but it fit. there was no rolling up of material on the thighs{I hav big thighs} it stayed there is a part to pull away by the crotch to urinate and excrete if you are willing. I did both normal without any mess,jus gotta be careful. warning; if you hav boobs in the c-dd size u may want to get a full coverage bra when wearing this cuz it made my breast like a shelf when sitting in a car or table.......otherwise yes it pulls u in on the sides but pushes ur belly forward abit,not much but it also makes u feel full when u drink like a cup of water so it sorta helps with food intake if you wanna lessen the intake amt...it kinda reminds u to sit proper and not slouch.....its worth the money tho...jus gotta get accustom to it
