This body butter smells amazing, really amazing. It smells like sweet. warm cinnamon. I usually don't like sweet scents, especially in body products, but this isn't nauseating-ly sweet.It also looks like thick, luscious meringue. The scent and texture is almost enough to make you wonder what it tastes like, not that I would.Beside looking and smelling like a delicious dessert, it moisturizes pretty well.The texture is really soft, but thick and creamy. A little swipe goes a long way, all I need is about a quarter size dollop for each area of my body (arms, legs, chest)I love how, despite all the oils in it, this body butter doesn't leave me feeling greasy or sticky. Less than a minute after I apply it, I can get dressed without my clothes sticking to me.When it dries it leaves an almost matte look.I have very dry, sensitive, eczema prone skin. This does do a good job at reducing redness and irritation on my skin, but it doesn't really help with my eczema. After a while I still find myself feeling very itchy. It does help reduce itching once it starts, but doesn't prevent it.Although it has a great ingredient list, I feel like it isn't as nourishing as I'd like it to be. About 12 hours after I apply it, my skin starts to feel dry again (which I haven't experienced with other body butters)Even if the price is almost 2x as much as you'd pay in store, it's a good price(still cheaper than anything I can find locally) for people who don't have a local Trader Joe'sPros: Smells and looks greatHelps with itchy skinMakes my skin really soft and smoothReduce rednessNo sticky or greasy film left on my skinCons: Doesn't help prevent itchy skinNice scent, very moisturizing, but overpriced. There is a light fruitiness to it with a hint of cinnamon. Not tremendously pumpkin, but there. It goes on light and smooth. Moisturizing for my body and okay for face (not greasy or strong smelling), and it is lasting a long time. One tub and it has been about two months before I touched bottom.I bought this for 2 reasons firstly I couldn’t find this at my local Traders & secondly I absolutely love the coconut version so because autumn is here the pumpkin seemed thrilling. Well there’s no spiced pumpkin smell to the one I got, matter of fact there’s very little scent at all, maybe it’s old? However it does make your skin feel wonderful & silky soft, that’s the only upside, which is a good one. If your looking for this to smell autumnrific keep it moving. I've bought 3oz jars for over 100$, and have tried every cream I've read about or seen online regardless of expense. We don;t have Trader Joe's in Canada so I knew the stores from visits to the US but had no idea if I was getting a bargain or being ripped off, I just decided to try it since it was an add-on and WOW! the cream is so thick and luscious and while pumpkin pie isn't the go-to spring scent, after using the cream I do feel like I ought to be sitting on a graham cracker crust-bed! Will boy again and try other formulations from TJ.The size is much larger in person...My mom is incredibly sensitive to smells and so we’ve never been able to wear perfumes or colognes or scented lotions because it makes her physically sick. But THIS, this is the ONLY scent that she has EVER been able to tolerate! It’s very light but still present and it smells sooooooo good! Plus the body butter is AMAZING and makes my skin feel so hydrated and soft. This is something that we will probably continue to order for years and so I’m praying they never stop making it!
