My youngest daughter is starting to learn about her body parts (hair, nose, eyes, ect). While we always try to make learning fun, she’s not wanting to work on this and a few other areas. With her going to a babysitter during the day, I feel it’s vital that she knows the basics and can accurately communicate any issues or needs fairly effectively. So, the hunt began for some ideas on fun ways to help her learn a bit easier. That’s when I stumbled across this book and while I was a bit hesitant, I thought we’d give it a shot and the cover intrigued my daughter when we were browsing through things. I’m glad I took the chance. The book is short and doesn’t go into a lot of detail but the pictures / illustrations kept my daughters attention and immediately upon reading it the first time, she would cooperate by pointing and trying to say the different body parts. We still have a ways to go but we’ve run through this book twice now and she’s just as engaged as she was the first time. It’s simple enough that as she starts really reading herself, she can use it to practice on so you can get double the use out of it!
