I love this skirt- my only wish is that the waistline was more seamless or somehow able to adjust the waist via draw string ribbon to work with various waist sizes- as many women fluctuate in size depending on time of year, or as younger customers grow- it will grow with them.Just a few suggestions for designs that would keep me coming back and buying more... the above, plus maybe adding more colors (think rainbows, twilight/dark blue with sparkles [really any color with sparkles], and maybe even branch out to using other fabrics [integrating fun patterns, brighter colors, and using fabrics that flow like beautiful waves]. I'm not a professional dancer, but what I am is a keen observer of fashion as it relates to dance- and have a lot of dancer friends and family. Some owning their studios and they are always looking for more fun dance apparel. I will be keeping my eye on this label and would be ecstatic to recommend these skirts to anyone who enjoy good quality, fun designs, and all at a fabulous price point.Everything about this dress is great except the size, which is too large. I wish there is S or XS sizes available for purchase.I purchased this Body Wrappers chiffon skirt in black for a ballerina costume idea I had for an upcoming party in October. The skirt arrived today 8/27/16. It came pretty fast. The good news is that the skirt although it's long - I am 5"2 and it meets at the ankles It didn't touch the floor. I plan to shorten it a bit to show more of my ballet shoes. The skirt is chiffon soft with a good full flow. Its also very sheer I plan to wear something underneath leggings perhaps with a leotard to make this outfit work. Its a good skirt at a fair price too! The waist band is thin, and comfortable will use a satin ribbon at the waist. I have a small frame so size S/M is perfect for me. I can recommend this skirt with confidence. When ordering the skirt it should correspond to what size you normally wear.I like it. It can be altered as necessary. I bought an xl thinking it’d be too small but it’s quite big and has stretch to it. If you fall in small category, get the small/medium. If you wear large/xl get that size. The black is nice, not cheap looking even though it’s mesh. RecommendI wore this as the skirt portion of a fortune teller costume. It fit very well, and was exactly what I had expected! I am 5'2" (ish), & around 125- 130 lbs, with a majority of my weight in my hips and tush. It did drag while I walked around without heels on. However, once I popped on some heels it was the perfect length. The material flowed well and was comfortable all night! Definitely purchase if you are considering it!When going through the product listing I wanted to make sure I got something that was floor length. I clearly missed something because when it arrived it was just above the ankles - which was a bummer. However, what it didn't deliver on in length I will give it points for in color and quality. The purple is SUPER vivid and the quality is excellent. I will find a way to make it work with something eventually. I'll just likely end up doing some alterations beforehand. So many products these days are marketed as "chiffon," and when they arrive, they're basically a half roll of some random sheer fabric that is stiff and unflattering. This skirt is actually chiffon and it's beautiful. It lays nicely and flows perfectly. It fits at the waist with a small elastic band, and fits as expected. I'm 5'4" and it's a couple inches too long for me, so it will be perfect for someone a little taller.I had bought this on discount dance about 3 years ago. I got another one through amazon and it seems to be made out of a heavier and slightly thicker material. it still is sheer but not as sheer as it was 3 years ago which is why i give it a 4 instead of 5Perfect Skirt for dance. No sizing or manufacturing issue.
