I would have given this product a five star rating but because of the cheap materials it is made from, the price did not justify paying this much for a product that is not made from wood.Delivery:I got this furniture delivered to me in two pieces over two days. I called the company because I was unsure why one box came and not the other and they promptly answered and explained why. So that was a good reflection on potentially good customer service. Boxes came in very secure packaging and undamaged.Look:Product actually looks very good and I am delighted when I stare at it. Has a nice gloss finish to it and is an impressive addition to my living room. Highly recommend the look.Quality:This is the main reason why I give this product an overall rating of 3 and not a 5. It is NOT made from wood and for the price paid, the materials simply do not justify the cost. I love the way it looks, but it's made from that cheaper particle board looking material. If you look at my picture during installation you can see the type of material I am referring to it. Although it looks great after completion, it's just not worth paying the high price tag.Installation:I put this together myself and it took me about an hour. I am not an overly handyman kind of guy so it took a slight bit of thinking to make it work. Because of the quality of the materials, it is slightly unstable and I had to position each side properly so that it bends to perfection and sit at the right angle. If you look at my picture, you can see the top door looks slightly crooked and that is because I have to reposition one leg so that it stands evenly. THIS WOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED IF THIS WERE MADE OF WOOD BECAUSE IT WOULD BE A SOLID STANDING AND NON-MOVING FURNITURE.Price needs to decrease on this because there are comparable products that are made from sturdy wood and this piece of furniture is not built to be long-lasting. I do not feel comfortable moving this around my house or when it comes time to move to another home, I am going to be fearful that it will bend one one side in the wrong direction and break easily.I love everything about this bookcase.
