There are definitely things I like about this Healthyier Living Body Lotion with Shea Butter & 250mg CBD designed to hydrate, soften, and leave skin glowing. It's noted as fighting dehydrated skin and being soothing and having anti-inflammatory properties. The lotion is made in the USA and distributed by a Boston-based company. It's documented as using non-GMO Hemp Extracts and natural ingredients. The package arrived neatly packed and appropriately boxed. The body lotion arrives in a 2-ounce bottle and ingredients are clearly labeled on the box. The lotion is dispensed by pump action. It did take a few pumps to get the lotion to dispense and even after a couple days there are still times the pump is a bit hesitant. It does dispense a small amount which is good given the lotion's price point. The lotion feels and smells good. There's some lemon balm in here that seems to mix nicely with rosemary and sage. I'll admit I'm not thrilled with products where I have to go look things up to check for allergies and to just be aware of what I'm using. This is less appealing with a product that openly advertises natural ingredients. There are natural ingredients in this, but there are also ingredients that aren't natural.I have to admit I'm also a bit troubled by the overselling. "Highest quality body lotion made in the USA?" Um, I don't think so. It's a good body lotion. It feels good. It smells good. It moisturizes and seems to maintain that moisturizing for most of my work day. However, for a product with directions to "apply to entire body as often as needed throughout the day" I have higher expectations. There's nothing this lotion does that really justifies its price.I tried using it in some of my skin's trouble areas, but thus far I'm not seeing much impact. The CBD integration here is fairly modest and I'm not seeing a strong impact from its inclusion.Overall, I see some positive uses as a body lotion. It's smooth, creamy, smells good, and lingers. It doesn't quite smooth in as completely as I'd prefer, but I see some benefit to using it in ultra-dry areas and I'm still intrigued and hoping I'll see some impact of the CBD in my trouble spots. If I end up seeing greater results, then I'll update my review but after a few days I'd expect more of a benefit than I'm receiving from regular use.I don't see this product becoming a regular part of my wellness and self-care rotation. I don't regret using it, but I just don't think it justifies its price and I think promises are made and it doesn't quite deliver on that promise. This is ultimately a premium product that performs more like a mid-range body lotion. This is a very nice, soothing moisturizer. I was hoping that it would help heal a few areas of skin that have dry, irritated patches, but the relief is only temporary.None-the-less, this is a fantastic lotion. It has a mild scent, is non-greasy, and locks in moisture giving my skin a healthy look and feel. The only negative is the steep price. As a lotion addict, I thought this lotion sounded awesome in the product description, so I requested it from Vine. This review is for: Body Lotion with Hemp Oil Extract Body Lotion - Shea Butter & Hemp Oil Body Moisturizer.Be aware that this is a two ounce bottle. It's a pretty small bottle for $45.00 in this lotion addict's opinion. The pump only dispenses a very small amount of lotion, so you're going to be doing a lot of pumping if you're moisturizing your entire body.I do find it to be moisturizing but not as soothing as I had hoped. I was a bit surprised because anything with Shea Butter usually works so well for me-so then I looked at the ingredients. Where's the freaking shea butter? I don't see it there. I included a photo of the ingredients so you can see for yourself.Lastly, I can't stand the smell of this lotion. I can't quite put my finger on it, but for me, this has a medicinal odor, something like eucalyptus perhaps, but not as strong? It does leave my skin feeling super soft, but I don't feel any effects from the CBD. I've read that it can calm anxiety and relieve pain and all these other things, but I've experienced none of that. I don't feel like my skin is hydrated, even though it is soft, and where is the Shea Butter and WHAT is that smell?I'm sorry to say that this lotion didn't impress me, and I don't like it. I gave it three stars, because my skin does feel good, even though I can't stand the smell. I will use the rest of this because I hate to waste anything, but I would not buy it again. This white silky lotion comes in a very small pump bottle. For $45 (today's price), you only get 2 fluid ounces. That's not much at all, especially if you are trying to moisturize both hands or legs. It gets used up very fast. Also, the pump top is a bit tricky to set right so that something actually pumps out of the bottle. It looks and feels nice, but you have to keep playing with the top to turn it to just the right spot for it to finally work. At least only a very small amount pumps out at a time. The lotion does feel nice and silky, but I can't say that it leaves my skin feeling silky smooth. It feels nice, but not really any better than most other moisturizers. Have yet to feel any of the CBD, so that's not doing much to help either. There is a very light minty fresh scent that I do really like.I would suggest that if you get this lotion, you limit it to spot work, unlike what the directions state which is to apply over the entire body. If you apply over the entire body, you are only going to get several uses out of this stuff since there's so little in the bottle. It does feel like it might be good for the face for those with normal to dry skin. You might want to target your hands or some other dry spots. This lotion would be fine for everyday use if they gave you a lot more, as well as bring the price down to something that is reasonably affordable.
