Firstly, product came with no instructions in or on the box. So I can see how someone might mess up. Also this product and other nearly identical products have two diffrent directions on how to use. I did both.I have fine, blonde hair with darker patches. I also have considered relatively sensitive skin.The directions for this is in the product description saying to use it dry. However, the quick Google search initially said wet.Wet or dry- using this on my bikini area, armpits, or breasts for those few whiskers, always resulted in micro cuts. Mind you I was not rough at all as these areas are delicate. Neither method worked for me.My legs are another story. Both wet and dry worked in removing hair (leg pic with my foot was using the wet method). Personally I find it more comfortable and somehow faster to use the wet method (while showering) so if you do exfoliate some skin it is easy clean up. Knees are still a little tricky to get all the hair but unlike a traditional razor you don't need be afraid of slashing yourself.Product description photos say usable on face, but then later have written they do NOT recommend face use.In the end I give this product a 3. If it was only marketed for the legs I'd give it a five. However it is marketed to all sorts of areas and I would not recommend for anywhere on the body other than the legs.Extra tip;If you do get micro cuts do not put lotion on it. It will hurt, instead use a petroleum jelly or antibiotic ointment. Saw a reviewer say the used lotion and felt bad for them :(Product is relatively easy to use but what I was afraid would happen did and I got razor burns the day after.I bought this to test it out, I had been seeing this item and ones like it all over social media and I can tell you right now that this didn't remove a single strand of hair. Not to mention it felt very uncomfortable to rub on skin.I love the idea of this and had high hopes for it. I was hoping it would save time with shaving my legs…it did not. It takes almost twice as long as shaving in the shower.So I purchased this for my daughter for when she will start shaving her legs. IT WORKS! However, it left like a rash or a small break out in the area we removed the hair. I suggest cleaning it and cleaning the area to avoid issues with skin.good product ??I applied heavy pressure and still can’t get this item to work. After testing every area of my body it only worked on upper thigh and that was barely. That area was left really smooth.Two stars since item doesn’t work as described. Maybe someone with finer hair will have better luck.UPDATE: something told me to use while in bathtub and must say it worked much better on wet skin. Leaving review at 2 stars however due to massive burns on arms and underarms (using it on wet or dry skin). Back to drawing board…I was skeptical but it actually works! It does take a little effort and for me, my legs don’t stay smooth any longer than they do with shaving, but they are wayyy smoother when I first use it than with a razor.
