Works great with face paint! I added some different kinds of glitter to it and adhesion was just as strong.I bought this for a couple of concerts and loved it. It stayed on even when I got all hot and sweaty from dancing. It's super easy to apply and comes off easily with makeup remover cloths. I love the different size pieces of glitter. It looks great on the face as well as the body. My only complaint would be the bottle. The glue is pretty thick and the bottle is tall and skinny. It was easy to stick my finger in to get the glue out now because it's all on the top. I guess as the level starts to go down, i'll have to use a Q-tip or something to get it out. There should be some sort of applicator brush or something that comes with it, but I guess for the price, it's a small inconvenience.Rolls on smoothly, looks very shiny and flakes off after a few hours. But I just need to pay attention to the actual specs in the description. The glitter worked great for what I needed. Has different sized glitter pieces in the bottle.
