So I'm in my early 40's and as the title says, I'm a P90X and Insanity graduate. I've also done numerous other DVD workouts. And when I say numerous, I'm talking all the way from original TaeBo (VHS mind you), to the more recent Jillian Ripped in 30 and just about everything in between.Based on my experience with these workouts, this is just as hard as any of the Insanity workouts. Yes, even including the Plyometrics one.In this 60 minute brutality fest, you start out with 15 minutes of single weight work. Squats, swinging squats, dead lifts, suitcase swings...you name it, you're doing it. Doesn't sound tough, but use a 15 lb weight and get back to me on it. After that, it's pretty much game on...your heart will feel like it is coming out of your chest. It's so crazy, my brain has apparently blacked out the rest of the routine because I just finished and am having a hard time remembering everything I did!Yah, he has 3 ridiculously in shape people also in the video and guess what? He beats them into the ground. I mean literally pounds them down. At one point he asks if you can feel it in your legs and one woman says no. BIG mistake. He was on her like fly on stink. Yep, her legs were shaking and he wasn't let her off the hook. There is absolutely now doubt that this DVD will push even the most hard core workout groupies out there. The only other DVD that forced me to use a towel because of the sweat flying off my body was Insanity...until Bob's workout. You will need a towel to ebb the flow of sweat pouring from your skin. The workout has a countdown timer visible throughout the regimen which I enjoy. It displays what you are doing. The only downside is that I saw only one official "water break" on it for the whole hour. Trust me, you will need more.Easily, and I mean easily worth every penny you spend for this.
