This pillow does not offer very much support like it suggest. It’s very flat and holds no shape.I got this Pregnancy Pillow Maternity Pillow for my 11-year-old daughter, who's not pregnant (!), but always wanted to take mine. So, getting her own seemed like a good solution. I ordered her the pink pillow, but unfortunately, we received the dark grey one. It's still a beautiful color, just not what we expected. I uploaded pictures that show what this pillow looks like after taking it from its vacuum sealed packaging (white comforter with lavender flowers) and what it looks like after about 3 weeks of use (white and blue diamond squared comforter) . It has clearly become more full; however, I think it still feels like it lacks some stuffing to be really comfortable; especially if you're pregnant and need more support. It does have a zipper, so you can add more stuffing yourself to get it to the preferred firmness. My daughter likes this pillow a lot and feels it has the right amount of stuffing for her needs. She thinks this pillow is very comfortable and she likes how she can sleep on it in many different ways without it being annoying.I really am enjoying this pillow. Pregnancy pillows were total lifesavers for me during pregnancy, especially with twins. I could never have fallen asleep without one. They are great for pregnancy, the postpartum healing period, or after a surgical procedure, and also for people with back problems who can’t sleep well because of it. That’s my issue. I also found them great for propping up my new infants for feeding sessions. With two I was always tandem feeding. Good for sitting up a bit and cradling a baby or bab-IES in your arms for breastfeeding sessions. It definitely helps take some pressure off of your arms and back. The possibilities go beyond what’s said here.I have some degenerative discs in my back. I was always a tummy sleeper, and I can no longer tolerate the back pain from lying down that way, so I fight to keep myself to the side at night, and I’ve had much less pain ever since I’m not tossing much around during the overnight hours. I love that! I feel much better when I wake.Yes, it is big, but I like the design. It feels like a great big hug, and my hubby works most nights, so it helps give me some TLC while he’s gone, just being able to wrap myself around it. The bulky size may be a turn off for some, but as far as pregnancy pillows go, this is a really nice & cozy one.I’m enjoying it, and it doesn’t gobble up our king sized bed. It would a twin or a full bed, but even for during the day lounging or naps, this is a worthy investment. If you sleep alone, the size is not an issue. It costs under 1/2 the price of my last pregnancy pillow from 12 years ago! I love the soft, luxurious feel of the velvet cover, too. It’s machine washable! It comes vacuum packed for you to use when ready & would make a fabulous baby shower, or any mama-to-be, gift.What can I say? While it is touted as a pregnancy pillow, I got it because I've found body pillows help relieve my back pain. However, I also toss and turn and it wasn't easy to do with this pillow because of its heaviness and steadiness. It's almost like the manufacturer assumed that pregnant women once asleep don't turn over or move at all for the entire night.I've been having such bad pain that it's been making it hard to sleep and this pillow has been god sent. It allows me to comfortable sleep at night. It's easy to wash as well and isn't to heavy. Overall highly recommend.I got this at the perfect time. I'm due in September and it's getting hard to sleep. My new pregnancy pillow supports me and sleep is much better. Very comfortable.This is a pregnancy pillow but you don't have to be pregnant to enjoy sleeping with it. The pillow is large and heavy if you are a restless sleeper you may not be happy with this pillow. I wanted this for my back pain. It does help. I find it very comfortable.This is absolutely wonderful! It came in a vacuum sealed package and took a little while to get to normal shape. The cover on it is velvet textured so it's so soft. It's not too firm to where it's hard to move around. It's just right. I'm not pregnant but I sure wish I would have had this when I was. It's nice to be supported all the way around. I injured my back when I was younger so sometimes the only way to sleep without being in pain is with a pillow between my legs. This feels good to sleep with all night. I love it! I would recommend to anyone but especially if you are pregnant or have a back problem.
