the brush is more of a ink quill so its unable to to fine lines, still does the job but you get what you pay for. would reccomend as long as you are not doing very fine details.Even in fine line, the color is very vibrant except for the gold however I am fair skinned so I think with more contrast you would be happy. The white though is even very bright on me. I have purchased 5 of these colors and the only one I was not as happy with was the gold. I would not recommend using close to eyes though as I tried and my eyes although not sensitive, did start to sting and water.Perfect for my halloween costume. Didn't go on well on my foundation, but still worked great! Easy to apply and easy to clean off! Even stayed on during a hardcore workout session :)I just got around to opening all the Mehron products I ordered for an art photo piece I am working on. I don't know if the product is too old, or if this is the norm. But I bought six Mehron products and none of them even work like regular makeup, much less stage. Dried out, weak, definitely not as advertised. The lowest end line of regular makeup from a discount store works better than this stuff. WAY BETTER. VERY DISAPPOINTED.I expected this to be somewhat like a liquid eyeliner. I really like Mehron so I was surprised by how this product fails. Maybe I got a bad bottle, but it hardly works at all - like, it hardly shows up on your skin. I don't know if it's dried out in there or if it's just a subpar product.i had mixed feelings about this produict..... it DOES save time , but not by much , i will repost higher star if i find that it lasts for a longer time or helps save the costs on my cake.I am highly disappointed by the product. As a longtime user of the Mehron line of products, I was expecting a top quality, opaque, black paint that would add detail to my face for a certain costume. Instead, the product was thin and incredibly runny and transparent. I wound up having to wipe it off of my face, which left my look for the event incomplete. You're probably better of with liquid eye liner.Eh, it is not as bright or thick as I would want to highlight.
