I’m primarily a rower, and I wear this suit for my daily 10k rows at low intensity, as well as other forms of low-intensity steady state workouts (LISS). It feels AMAZING to wear this suit for many reasons, and I’m totally converted!!Sizing - I’m tall and thin: 6’1”, 160 lbs, size 10 pants, 39” hips and 31” waist, 36D. According to the chart, I should have gotten a Large based on my weight. But I got a Medium because I prefer tight fits. And indeed, it’s VERY tight on me, so I think their size chart is spot-on correct. The material is 65% neoprene, 25% nylon, 10% spandex.Pros:-It does its primary job of making you sweat more! The sweat literally runs down your legs and arms from the suit! Gross, but effective!-The tight fit actually improves your posture (pulls your shoulders back) and encourages good form in whatever movement you’re doing, which is also good for injury prevention. It’s like wearing a back brace, feels REALLY nice.-Due to the increased heat, the muscles remain warmer and therefore more flexible. During my long 10k rows, my usual tension spots which develop are now completely gone, and I’m honestly shocked at how much more comfortable and enjoyable my workouts are when I wear this suit. I feel like a well-oiled machine!-Working out in this suit produces an “afterburn” effect which causes you to burn more calories after the workout. (Similar to the effect that HIIT has). This is why it can produce greater FAT loss results when used consistently, aside from the simple water weight loss it will cause.-Visually, the suit is very flattering! It also gives you a great opportunity to show off any bras you really like to wear. ;)Cons:-The material in the gluteal region is actually see-through!!! Was not expecting this! I tried every color of underwear, doesn’t matter, you can still see it!-The zipper can easily unzip because the suit is very tight, and astoundingly there is no clasp at all to secure the zipper. I made my own clasp, because I fear it will definitely come unzipped.-It’s a little bit of a hassle to keep it clean to prevent it constantly smelling like sweat, because you can’t machine wash it. You basically have to rinse it and let it drip dry, just like a wetsuit, and hope it doesn’t stink! Haha.Additional comments/recommendations:This is NOT meant for “heavy or prolonged exercise,” and there are tags attached specifically warning you about this. You WILL begin to heat up rapidly after a certain point. Then your heart rate will be be stuck elevated (even at a slower pace than normal) at which point you risk overheating if you continue for a long time. I therefore STRONGLY recommend a HR monitor, so that you can monitor your HR and continue working out safely, and get MAXIMUM results! I think you can definitely work out for a long time in this suit, as long as you’re smart about it. But be aware that by doing this (keeping a safe HR), your pace will be slower. You’re NOT gonna get record-breaking times for any endurance pieces in this suit. In fact they’ll be worse, but don’t feel discouraged -- you’re still getting a great, satisfying workout, with added benefits of extra sweating and long-term greater fat loss results. To summarize … in general, DON’T use this suit when:-Your workouts are focused on high intensity, or you want to achieve your best times.-It’s already hot outside.
