This product is just as advertised. Small, easy to use and most importantly it does the job and does it well! Hope to work with this brand more!It is easy to use as far as charge and go!You can just plug it in to your computer and access your videos which I recommend.It can connect to your phone wirelessly and you can access it there.My dislikes are:It is super loud when starting up, and using buttons.Video quality is marginal in low light. It shines int he day, but when transitioning from high to low or low to high light environment it takes a few seconds to adjust and that can be detrimental to footage you need.Hope this helps!This is a bodycam designed for police to wear, but others could also film with it.There is NO memory stick - 64 GB memory is built in and not removable.This Shelleyes brand bodycamera is powered by a 2700 mAh battery, which they say lasts for 12 hours, plenty enough for one shift.Charging is with either a USB type B charging wire with a 5V 2A power converter or a base station you set the camera into that is powered by the same USB cord and power converter.it takes 3 - 4 hours to charge completely.There's PC software to download the video and simultaneously charge the camera back up.On the side of the camera are 4 LED lights indicating the battery strength: 25%, 50%, 75% or 100%.Operation is simple: press and hold the big button on the front of the camera to turn on the power (makes a ringing noise), then short press it again to record (makes another noise).The LED ring around the big button lights up red, which is a clear indicator to anyone nearby that this device is filming.Night vision is only 10 meters (about 32 feet), which is OK, since it's a wide angle (140⁰) lens designed to film objects and people nearby.However, night vision does not turn on by itself.You need to press and hold the FN button manually to turn on or off the night vision.There's a way to view the recorded video in an app on your cellphone using Wi-Fi.You can not copy or delete the video file on the app.Long press the picture button and a white indicator lights up on the top of the camera.Connect to this Wi-Fi access point with your phone and then you supposedly can view the video footage on your cellphone.HOWEVER, you must agree to the user agreement and privacy policy, which is entirely written in Chinese.i don't read Chinese and can not agree with something i cannot read.So, while the Wi-Fi access may be convenient, i'll just connect the camera to the computer with the USB cord to manually move the video off of the camera and view it.Video resolution is either 1296P, 1080P or 720P.All have 30 fps (frames per second) and are recorded as MOV files with H. 264 compression.The video quality is excellent, and the sound too.Video is recorded in files of 5, 10, 15, or 30 minutes.A shorter film length would be preferred, just in case something goes wrong and the file in memory gets corrupted.Photos are 32MP ( megapixels) as jpegs.You can film video and take a picture simultaneously.There is no LCD screen to view the video.The only way to view the video is either Wi-Fi or copying to a computer the USB cord.The product page says that GPS (Global Positioning System) is included, but the instruction manual clearly states in the color red that GPS is "Not Available"Overall, this is an excellent bodycam, suitable for police or anyone else who wants to film with it.i definitely give it 5 stars.i hope this review is helpful.Sabiene :)Uses micro-usb kind of a bummer, however extremely easy to use. I have been dreaming up a film idea and this camera could be invaluable for it, if I ever get it off the ground. Very usable device that even I can figure out how to use it effectively.This small package combines a compact shell with 2" screen, 1296p resolution, night vision, audio, and built in 64GB of storage. The menu/OSD is easy to navigate and adjust. The body is rugged (weather and shock proof capabilities), with rubberized buttons which give you good feedback when scrolling through functions. The picture quality is solid, and the night vision is clear. Easy to clip on to your clothing or uniform. Great product for recording interactions with others, or for POV vlogging (handsfree), also good for a 2nd set of POV for driving logs, etc. Great starter package.Easy to setup and use. Clear picture.Great little body cam that is pretty easy to use. Follow instructions for great results.
