Do you shave? Men or women. I bought this because I was trying to find a natural moisturizer for my hands and body. Work in a very dry environment. Works very well. Put it on, Its very slick at first apply. It's oil, of course it is. Give it time to absorb. Well, that brings me to my next...thought. I was getting ready for work. I needed to shave, but had no shaving cream. Hmmm. Damn. Oh well, heading to work. Grab my keys.... and then it hit me. Wait. I have this "body" oil. Its slick, it's moisturizing. Maybe I could use that for shaving!? So I put my keys down, ran some HOT water on a towel. Soften upped my short..yet to long beard hair. Rubbed this oil in my beard and my shave was smooooooth. Work great! Didn't cacth. Didn't burn. Blade cut through easily and smooth.So. Get this for a good moisturizer but remember. If you ran out of shaving cream, use this as shaving oil! In fact. I'll just use this for that too! Cut down on products.I think most shaving cream is just "lotion" or "oil" anyway marketed as shaving cream. Anyway. Great natural oil.Peace out!Rub down for my wife, which she enjoyed immensely. This bottle is beautiful though the design is not efficient. The neck to where it pours out is not far out enough so some oils run down the bottle. I just grab it up with my fingers not to waste any of this fabulous oil. I gave it 5 stars because I care about the product and to me it's exactly what I wanted that I couldn't find until now. All organic, and so much more. The best of the best put into one bottle. I am so glad I got this wonderful oil. I have dry skin especially my hands after washing them around 10 times a day in the winter months. Nothing would help. This is helping. This is the real deal oil. Slowly absorbs into your skin. Then your skin becomes soft like a baby's bottom. Smells great, feels great, and it's a pretty large bottle for a great price considering this is a prized formulation of different high quality pieces. I bought the balm too and I love the balm as well. Love both of the products I bought.I love Badger and I love their Unscented Anti-Oxidant Oil but do also enjoy a light rose fragrance. This one is so overpowering (with either the rose, chamomile, or or lavender, or all of them together) that when I apply it, I hurriedly leave the bathroom anxious for the scent to dissipate. I suppose I smell notes of rose and a tad of lavender, but the competition is off-putting and maybe with the chamomile also. I thought after using it three times or so I could grow to not mind it but this is not the case.Smell is subjective and even the depth of smelling certain notes, so let me offer my olfactory experience: I love burning sandalwood incense, opium incense, and any other incense, really. I buy and use coconut, tropical flowers, or beach smelling candles, as well as coffee smelling and vanilla smelling candles. I have worn and loved the following perfumes: Opium, Poison, Black (by Kenneth Cole), Norell (discontinued) and to the lighter smells of 5th Avenue, Anais Anais, Dazzling Gold (Estee Lauder), Aqua di Gio (for women), and Tommy Girl.My point is, I greatly enjoy many smells and am not one of those olfactory sensitive people who avoid scents. From even stronger woody or musky scents to light florals and citrus, I love them all. So that this smell (which to me, isn't very pleasant) overpowering even my 'smell buds' means that it, obviously, is way too much for me.I did not want to return it because I love everything else about it. But at this point, with the overpowering smell, I just want to make a point to use it up so I can give myself the okay to return to the Unscented.I actually use this on my face at night because it's super moisturizing. I occasionally use it during the day when my skin feels dry, but it can be too much for every day. It doesn't have too much scent and is really pleasant. It soaks in nicely, so my pillow doesn't get greasy or anything.I hate hating...But I did extensive research for my dry dry skin and finding an all natural resolution for it.Hey his was highly reviewed and personally reviews looked good, but this needs some water For it to spread At all and doesn’t come close to quenching my skin.I mix it willWater and add lotion because it needs much moreI love this product! It works better than using lotion. My skin is soft and not itchy. It’s not greasy feeling. I put it on as soon as I get out of the shower (before I towel dry) and then pat my skin dry after I apply it. It keeps my skin moisturized all day. The smell is not strong, I have very sensitive skin. This is my 3rd time buying this product as my teenage daughter likes to use it too.Being only 31, I constantly struggle with dry skin, especially on my legs. Most lotions haven't helped and any that have, I end up having to use a lot and spending a lot of money in order to get the results I need. With this product, it is a huge lifesaver especially in the winter time. I found the scent to be a little strong, smells nice, but the scent doesn't linger after 20 minutes from application. Give or take a few minutes. :) also, I occasionally use 1 pump into my bath as it really helps in soaking in the oils to my skin. I find it very therapeutic. Definitely worth getting and continuing to use.it absorbs well, makes skin soft! but the smell is not for me. I think its the added french lavender, i find it smells like "old lady/grandma" ish. If you are looking for a rose scented oil, this isnt it unless you dont mind that other scent. the scent is quit strong, i'm going to look for different body oils by the same brand hopefully they have one because i do like this brand.
