I'm in the middle of a weightloss journey and thought I'd measure myself on top of weighing because I do a lot of weight training and so I might be getting more toned even if my weight doesn't change much. So fat this measuring tape has made it easier to measure myself! I like the lock feature a lot. I only wish it stayed a little better because it falls right out. If it was a tighter fit it would make the measuring pro even easier. But having this function at all already makes the measuring process easier than using a normal tape measure. Especially because for consistency, I like to double/triple check that the tape is straight and having the lock keep it in place makes it easier to do that. I would say not necessary, but it does help alittle which is huge if you plan to measure yourself often.Well made the only thing is it doesn’t show actual hat sizes you have to look it up on a chart. If you add actual hat sizes it would be perfect.It’s good at snapping back and locking in but the ticks in the gears are too large so the measurement typically shrinks as soon as you undo the lock so you have to look at it while the lock is engagedWorks as advertised. Easy enough to use.Didnt think it would be so easy to use. I can see it with no problems and my dogs dont mind it when getting their head measured. The extra one is great for measurement of hieght and length. Also, the locking feature is better then I thought it would be.I did like this until it broke shortly after purchase unfortunately. I was not rough with it, just used it a few times and it broke.For me it works quite well, but you need to practice a bit to figure it out. If you are small already, and you need precise measurements for tiny changes, it might not be what you are looking for. Cheaply made, so it probably won't end up lasting long, but you get what you pay for.It's lightweight and easy to read.Initially I Gave a good review but after using it for the last couple days I’ve noticed that it does not give accurate measurements. This thing is absolute garbage. I paid $10 for something I could’ve bought for a dollar at a dollar store. Seller I believe your manufacture simply made no effort in creating what this item was meant for which was accuracy. Now I have to go to the trouble of returning this item, very disappointed.I was super excited about this product but it started breaking after about a week. It’s been almost exactly one month and now it is completely broken and unusable. I have only used it maybe 3 times. Very disappointed and hopefully can be replaced or refunded.The product is not as described by seller. Extremely cheap and low quality product.I should've read the comments. It broke after several months. I've used it for less than 20 times.The measuring tape end was half broken which helps in me stem the. After two times of use it totally broke of no use.I recommend not to buy this product
