These throttle bodies are located on the intake manifold, and contain the throttle plate(s) that control the air entering the engine. The throttle body also houses the fuel injector(s) on Throttle Body Injection (TBI) or Central Fuel Injection (CFI) systems. GM Genuine Parts are the true OE parts installed during the production of or validated by General Motors for GM vehicles. Some GM Genuine Parts may have formerly appeared as ACDelco GM Original Equipment (OE).

Worked like a champ on Chevy Aveo. Exact fit part OEM part. Will take you a couple hours to install. The coolant hoses on the back side and underneath of the throttle body are connected to each other and can remain on the unit when it is removed from the car. You can reinstall them on the new unit while it is off the vehicle. You will minimally also need a gasket which is removed with a pick from the plastic intake that the throttle body bolts onto. For a 2009 Aveo 5, the gasket was a FEL-PRO 61638
