Description

The Airaid PowerAid Throttle Body Spacer is developed to enhance off-idle torque, from 800 RPM to approximately 3,000 RPM. It incorporates a patented helix bore, which causes a spinning action of the incoming air-charge as it passes through the throttle body spacer. This improved air-charge carries all the way into the combustion chamber, producing a super-atomized mixture, which produces tremendous gains in mid-range power and overall combustion efficiency for better fuel economy.

For all the snake oil salesmen out there selling shake weighties and slap chopsI figured this to be one more worthless gadget . Wrong answer .A 454 Big Block is not known for fuel economy. But after instalation of this device and a cold air intake fuel milage increased by almost 5 miles per gallon and that was with me "Mr. LEAD FOOT " Driving on a cross country trip with a cab over camper weighing in at 2000 lbs on the back of the truck my milage was still in the 12-15 mpg range and thats saying something going over the continental divide.Nice, estheticly clean and California CARB approved.Nice Job Air raid !
