This review is bittersweet to write because I'm super sad to see this series end. From the very beginning I was sucked into the world that is Black Falcon. I was drawn to the characters from the very beginning... Each book having it's own merits of happy and sadness along the way. I feel like Michelle saved the best for last. Tyke is sweet and sassy and is the perfect combination of strength and weakness.Tyke's inability to accept that there is life beyond Black Falcon leads him into a dangerous spiral, one the band knows all too well. Each of the guys in the band have had their fair share of issues, but Tyke has set them on edge and is causing major turmoil among it's members. It's not until the band calls him out on his downfall that Tyke's story starts to unfold. Who would have thought that the reasons for his poor choices could lead him in a direction that would change his life forever. He just didn't get why his band mates would settle down when they were on the top of the world. Until he was struck with the same desire as them. From the beginning of this series Tyke was the quite and reserved one. He's a song writer and would rather play music and hang out with the guys then worry about settling down. That is until he meets Frannie. She's irresistible and the first woman Tyke has ever truly had interest in. She changes everything for Tyke and not just when it comes to his addiction, but his outlook on life, and his understanding of what the other guys are going through.Frannie is probably my favorite heroine in this series. She's strong and weak just like Tyke. The minute Tyke walks into her life Frannie knows she's totally screwed, and though she tries to fight it she knows she can't win. But you can't help but feel for her, she has used men to drown her sorrows for so long, she can't tell if the feelings that Tyke has for her are real or not. Tyke's so sincere and she takes it more of a "he's just trying to get into my pants" way. When push comes to shove she knows deep down he has her back, even though she doesn't want to believe it. Their affair comes on hard and fast and will leave you wanting more, that sensation of forbidden romance and getting caught helps keep you on your toes throughout this read. From book to book Michelle's writing has improved so much, her ability to tell the story and make the characters feel real is what draws me to her books. She pulls so much emotion and feeling from the reader leaving them begging for more every time. Overall this series could not have ended on a better note. The Epilogue had me sobbing, knowing that it was all over and never wanting it to end. I love these books, these characters, their flaws and their heartbreaks, and in the end their happiness. They have all fought and won in the battle of life and love on so many levels. Noel, Riff, Trip & Tyke will forever Rock My Heart!
